Trans Day of Visibility is Tuesday, March 31st 2020. TDOV is an international observance to celebrate transgender people around the globe and raise awareness of the challenges they face. To celebrate & honor #TDOV, we compiled stories from some of our supporters & community members across Minnesota! These stories are centered around visibility in healthcare and framed around 5 distinct topics: Stories of Competent & Inclusive Trans Healthcare, Challenges with Trans Healthcare, Needed Changes in Trans Healthcare, The Impact of Positive & Negative Experiences in Healthcare on Mental Health, and Stories on Visibility within the Healthcare System.

The St. Paul City Council is considering banning conversion therapy for minors, with an ordinance that would impose fines on licensed medical professionals who practice it.

MinnPost: Citing harm to mental health, proposed legislation aims to outlaw conversion therapy in Minnesota

For Minnesota Sen. Scott Dibble, DFL-Minneapolis, this is personal. The veteran lawmaker is sponsoring legislation that would make conversion therapy for vulnerable adults and people under 18 illegal statewide.

The Neighbor: Walz, legislative leaders rally for "conversion therapy" ban

Gov. Tim Walz and LGBTQ activists celebrated Valentine’s Day with a rally to demand that the Republican-controlled Minnesota Senate pass a ban on “conversion therapy” for minors.

With the aid of a sign-language interpreter in the foreground, Walz speaks to about 100 LGBTQ activists and their supporters.
